Refund Policy

Our commitment to fair and transparent billing.

Effective date: May 13, 2026

1. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

If you subscribe to any paid Counteraxiom plan (Pro or Max) and have not used any of the paid features included in your plan, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your first payment.

"Used" means having sent at least one message, used Interactive Chat, started a Classroom session, started an Interview Prep session, opened a Pitch Room, or accessed any other feature exclusive to your paid tier. If any paid feature has been accessed, the guarantee does not apply.

This guarantee applies to first-time purchases only. Subsequent billing cycles, renewals, and plan upgrades are not eligible but may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

2. Extra Usage Top-Ups

Extra Usage top-up packs ($2.99 per pack) are non-refundable once purchased, as credits are applied to your account immediately. You may purchase up to 10 packs ($29.90) in a single transaction; each pack adds an equal share of usage credits that do not expire and do not reset. If you purchased top-ups due to a billing error or technical issue on our end, contact us at support@counteraxiom.com and we will review the case.

3. EU & UK Right of Withdrawal

If you are an EU consumer, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal under Directive 2011/83/EU. This right is waived if you gave express consent to immediate access to the Service and acknowledged the loss of the withdrawal right at the time of purchase (confirmed by checkbox at checkout).

If you are a UK consumer, you have a 14-day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, subject to the same waiver conditions above.

If the withdrawal consent was not obtained at checkout, you may withdraw within 14 days and receive a full refund by contacting support@counteraxiom.com.

4. How to Request a Refund

Email support@counteraxiom.com with the subject line "Refund Request" and include the email address associated with your account.

We will review your request and respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed back to your original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.

5. After the 30-Day Window

Refunds are generally not issued after the 30-day window has passed. However, we will consider exceptional circumstances — such as billing errors, duplicate charges, or documented technical issues that prevented you from using the service — at our sole discretion.

If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us as soon as possible and we will investigate promptly.

6. Cancellations

You may cancel your subscription at any time via Settings → Profile → Manage Subscription in the Counteraxiom app. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain full access to your plan features until that date.

We do not offer partial refunds for unused time within a billing cycle unless a billing error has occurred.

7. Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback with your bank without contacting us first, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account pending resolution. We encourage you to reach out to us directly — we will always do our best to resolve any billing issue fairly and promptly.
